Dear Madam

       I am sorry I had not ye pleasure of seeing you, previous to my leavg town. I called at Gainsford Street: on my return I will ^take^ the first opportunity and will accompany you to Hackney. I shall be out about a week. I beg my best Compliments to Mrs Hays & Family. I am going to Chesterto Cambridge, & shall probably go to Bedford. Wishing you every felicity, I remain
